Local Campaigns
Not only do we have NUS led campaigns but we also do our own local campaigns. These can be charity events, working in the community or involving member of the public with some parts of the Unions campaigns.
Recently we've had Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Fairtrade Fortnight, Movember & Dodgeball for testicular cancer awareness, Health & Wellbeing Day, fighting obesity, Red Nose Day. Within the community we've helped redecorate the Treforest Boys and Girls Club, help clean up a church grave yard.
We also like to involve the community in getting involved with the Union by inviting them to as many events as possible. Opening up events to the public is a great way to get ivolved with the community and we continually try to do this. Recent events open to the public hav included, International Day, Health and Well being Day, Farmers markets.
