► Employment
Student Employment Service
The Student Union employs students to work as Bar and Catering Assistants, Couriers, Enrolment Administrators, Drivers, Reception Staff, and Entertainment Staff.
The University
The Union runs an employment service for various University Departments; these positions include everything from Student Shelvers at the Library, Couriers to conduct University Campus tours for the Marketing Department to Stewards in the Recreation Centre.
Job Opportunities are normally advertised in the Union Jobshop, but sometimes individual departments advertise themselves.
Always check the notice boards and if necessary ask the departments or call in the Union and speak with either myself, Jacqui Thomas or Eve Williams for further information in B Block, B013.
Important
To apply for any position you must provide a Passport, or Birth Certificate and proof of National Insurance (i.e. a National Insurance Card, a P45 or P60)
Further information will be given if you secure a position to work for the Union
