Education Drop-in Centre

The Education Drop-in Centre is based at the Treforest, Cardiff and Glyntaff sites and offers optional, extra study support to all University of Glamorgan students.

We provide, guidance, resources, one-to-one tutorials (face to face and online) and group workshops to familiarise you with academic styles and presentation to help you improve your academic performance. Our aim is to help and support you to develop your skills to succeed with your studies.
Our services include:

- General guidance on study and academic writing issues
- Specialist Maths and Statistics support
- Specialist English support for anyone wishing to check or improve academic writing skills
- Study Skills Workshops on a wide range of skills such as effective reading and note taking, giving presentations, essay writing skills and referencing. New programme out now!
- Advice and study skill support for first language Welsh speakers.
