Getting the most out of Your Union
The Students’ Union plays an important role in the life of every student whether you are new or even in your final year of study. The Students Union is where you can seek representation, meet new friends, play sport socialize during the day and night, gain employment, have your voice heard, to name but a few.
At the Students Union we encourage every student to participate in the Union whether it be as a member of Union council, a member of a sports team or society, or as a volunteer.
The Union is run by six Trustees who are
elected to look after your welfare, the six Trustees are:
All of the Trustees offer an open door policy and are there to represent you in any concerns you may have. The Trustees are in place to provide you with a safe and fun environment and to ensure that your University life is made as enjoyable as possible.
In addition to the Trustees there are Non Sabbatical Officers who donate their time and expertise to a wide range of matters that can help you in your time at the University of Glamorgan. Each campus has its own Officer.
