Student Activities Officer plans and proposals for the forthcoming year

Main focus points

Sports & Activities involvement and participation

• Focus on sports and activities across a wider audience, involvement from distinct groups including international, post grad, part time and students with disabilities.
  
• Also focus on raising the standards of our teams to gain a wider recognition across other universities.
  
• More team involvement with social events and uni fund raising ideas.
  

Charities

• Raise awareness of BFG (Big Fund raising group) and GGB (Glamorgan Gives Back)
  
• Student involvement in charity events
  
• Develop new atmosphere surrounding charity events and organisations
  
• Set a society to work in conjunction with both groups.
  

Societies

• Raise awareness of all societies and introduce new projects
  
• Society involvement with charities and sports fund raising events society events
  
• Working closely with the local community
  
• Offering students a better interaction with business in the local community
  Events and fund raising
  
• GGB offering back to the community
