About Me
I am 24; this is my 5th year at Glamorgan and for the last four years I have studied Bsc Sports Science. I am originally from Milton Keynes. This is my first year as a Sabbatical officer for Glamorgan Students Union.
My responsibilities within the Union is to co-ordinate all of the Sports teams, clubs and societies. This includes ordering all the kit for teams, organising referees and travel for match days, assisting societies and clubs, and of course not to forget planning tour!!
It is also my responsibility to help with the running of RAG at the Union and help with planning events to raise money. My office is always open and feel free to pop in for a chat for any ideas or help that you need whilst here at Glamorgan.
Why I ran For Elections
I ran for this position because I feel that I have a lot to offer the union as a Student Activities Officer. I have a good knowledge of how the Union runs its teams, clubs and societies and also feel I have enough knowledge to make these all more successful and reach a wider group of people.
Since being at Glamorgan I have been an active member within the Union playing for the Rugby team and also being part of Union Council and the Courier Co-ordinator for fresher's week.
Hobbies
I am a very sporting person and therefore most of my hobbies are sport based. I am a very keen Rugby player and have played for the University and captained them I also play club Rugby for Clifton in Bristol and Germany Internationally (Yes they do play Rugby!) I also enjoy weight training in the gym and the occasional game of squash even though I am not very good.
