Each year during the second term, Elections take place for six full time paid officers known as Trustees. They are either taking a sabbatical year off from their studies or just continuing after their studies to represent you on University committtees, in decisions on how the Union is run, and to the wider world through campaigning. They are responsible for ensuring that the decisions taken at General Meetings and Council Meetings are carried out. These six positions are supported by 12 part-time, non-paid posts (non-sabbatical).
The principal elected officer of the Union and has overall responsibility for all Union Activities, inluding media releases, commercial services, staffing, finance, community, representation education, Health & Safety and is a University Governor. Click here for more information
