Union Council
Union Council meets at least 4 times a year and is made up of students elected to represent their peers. Union Council is able to hold all elected officers to account as well as vote on new Policies which the Union must uphold.
It is important to have your say about your university life. Getting involved with Union Council is the perfect opportunity.
Union Council is made up of:
The Trustee Committee (6 members)
Other Elected Officers (12 members)
10 representatives from Union Societies
10 representatives from Union Sports Activities
10 representatives from Uni Halls of Residence
3 representatives from each Faculty
2 representatives from Merthyr Tydfil Representative Committee
4 other student representatives
General Manager sits as non-voting Secretary
