Election 2012
How to Vote
Voting is simple!
To cast your votes for this years election positions firstly log into Glamlife.
(This authenticates you as a valid voter)
1. On the front page of Glamlife will be a large red button. Click it! That will then take you into the GlamSU election section where you will be presented with the different elections.
2. Select the first election, then cast your vote.
3. You'll automatically be moved to the next election to vote in.
4. Complete all the elections and congratulate yourself on helping the Union's democratic process! (We really appreciate it)
Casting your vote
In each election you are able to select what order you'd like the candidates to rate. For example, there might be 4 candidates, Joe, Anna, Frank, Jonny & R.O.N.
Then, you can rate them in the order of preference:

Here we can see that the candidates have been voted in this order, Frank, Joe, Jonny, Anna then R.O.N. (R.O.N. isn't a candidate. It stands for Re-Open Nominations and should be used only if you don't like any of the candidates ) |

Press the cast your vote button and you then will be taken to the next election where you can repeat the process until all the elections are complete.
This type of voting is called Single Transferable voting (STV) a description can be found on here
