A BIG WELCOME to all our International Students!

Every year International Week starts a week before Freshers Week to help interational students settle in.

The Students' Union has many International flavoured events throughout the year which include, Diwali, Chinese New Year, St. Patricks Day and more! Also, the GSIS organise an International Day where many International and Home Students come to the Union to share and celebrate their culture...

BUT DON’T FORGET, we invite international AND home students to come along to ALL our events and take part in the running of the Union! All students can become members of societies, take part in activities and run for student elections.

The International Support Service (ISSS) offer international students a week full of sight-seeing trips, meals and events to help them make friends and feel at home. Some of these events take part in your Students’ Union, where you will have a chance to meet your student representatives and get to know the place. Please take a look at the ISSS website where you can find more detailed information about their services, plus contact details and answers to any questions you might have
