Eating out on campus

 For those of you who like the more traditional eating and socialising environment, Smiths is the nearest you’ll get to Pub on campus. Open all day, everyday, serving a wide range of food and drink. It is warm, relaxing and friendly. 

Situated on the ground floor of the Union, Smiths has a good balance of open plan seating and intimate alcoves providing an environment suitable for everyone’s needs. Whether it is quite drink and a bite to eat with a mate or a group party Smiths will work for you.





The Gallery Food Court

The Gallery building is the main eating venue on campus.
The Gallery Food Court serves hot food food from breakfast to evening meals and features an extensive salad bar and carvery
Gallery Xpress offers a range of grab n go products when you need a light snack. From sandwiches, wraps and sushi.



Butties

The gem of the Union open Monday to Friday 9.30 am – 3.30 pm. Butties is the place to grab that early morning coffee, quick lunchtime snack or afternoon tea. Situated in Baa Bars we offer a great range of teas, coffees and made to your choice sandwiches, rolls and panninis, as well as a great selection of pastries, cakes and confectionery.  



G’s Coffee Shop

Located in Rhondda building, a grab n go quick service coffee shop with a small seating area.  Offers an extensive range of sandwiches and is ideal when you need to take a quick break.



Bytes Café Bar

This modern café bar in Taf building is very popular. It serves continental coffees, freshly baked sweet and savoury pastries, and baguettes.

Glyntaff Campus

Offers 3 catering outlets,
Courtyard - restaurant offering hot meals on a self service basis
SNAX – retail and snack shop
Belladonnas – a modern high street style continental coffee bar.

Vending

We have a variety of offers from hot and cold drinks, multi snack and hot toasted sandwiches. Vending is available at the following locations on main campus : Accommodation lodge / Sports Centre / UA UB & UC UD accommodation blocks / Taf foyer / Rhondda foyer.  Vending in Glyntaff is available in the Courtyard restaurant.

Atrium Café - Cardiff

This modern café bar serves continental coffees, freshly baked sweet and savoury pastries, jacket potatoes and baguettes.
