B- Block development making good headway as we see near completion of the bar.


Bar shutters are down but there are beer taps behind the enclosure :)

Slowly but surely the new entertainment bar in the old Bygones cafeteria is being developed. We'll have exclusive pictures coming in next few weeks.






16th June '09
The old Bygones cafetria is starting to change. Unseen in these pictures are workers building the new bar and social space. Compared to the picture on the 2nd June (below) we can see that the project is coming along nicely. Thanks to the tireless workforce down there for their hard work so far!

B-Block worker moving materials into the old Bygones cafeteria for the new venue.

It doesn't look like much now but Bygones is starting to be sorted out. More news on the B-Block development soon.




2nd June '09
The Students' Union Admin staff have moved into offices in B-Block.

You can find the Finance and Personnel office in B013 which is through the main entrance at the front of the University and turn right.

Further down the corridor, at the end, is the main Union office, B025. 
Also this is where the Travel Office is for booking train tickets.

Temporary storage space in Bygones




1st June '09
Mobile phone top up machine is now operational in B-Block foyer. Cash machine next to it is waiting for a phoneline to be connected.
