Inside the new Union building

The new Sabbatical team were lucky enough to get a site visit of the Union building on Thursday and we've got several photos of different parts of the building.

As you can see a lot of work has been done since the last internal visit. We have ceilings, offices and loads of wires ready to be connected.

Thanks to the Estates team for getting us a tour of the building!

New Union Photos

With most of the scaffolding being removed from the front of the new building it is really starting to look like a state of the art building!

Most of the windows have been installed and if you look closely at some of thew pictures you can see ceilings and walls.

We're hoping to get a site visit sometime soon and will be bringing you up-to-date photos from the inside... stay tuned!

Here's an update of the new building's progress. The building is on schedule and should be completed on time.

The construction crews have been busy and have put on a number of windows. Here's the photos to prove it!

We've got a few more photos of the new building for you to see. Hopefully our photographer will get a chance to get inside sometime soon and capture some more photos of the progress going on.

10th March 2010

Our lovely building has been coming on in leaps and bounds after the adverse weather we experienced over the last couple of months. Some of the SU team were lucky enough to get to have a look around the site and take some pictures.

POSTS HAVE DISSAPEARED
We're going to update the construction gallery with all the pics.

It doesn't look like much now but Bygones is starting to be sorted out. More news on the B-Block development soon.

Fencing goes up around the building.

The Students' Union Admin staff have moved into offices in B-Block.

Not much to see yet!

Preparations for the Union building to be demolished.
