New Media
Year 1, Practical Module Exhibition
The five screens above the main reception desk in the Street are an exhibition of 50 students from the Year 1 New Media Practical module.
Students were asked to develop a series of five landscape format images employing new media tools demonstrating their understanding of and personal response to New Media. These images should be thematically and visually related and could explore narrative, points of view, interpretation, issues or concerns related to aspects of the theme through visual forms including photography, illustration, design, typography etc. Emphasis was placed on originating source imagery and the constraints of this rather than sourcing imagery second hand.
