Afro-Caribbean Society
The Afro-Caribbean Society (ACS) is a newly established group with the University of Glamorgan Students' Union.
The ACS aims to unify and promote African and Caribbean cultures by organising social and educational events which show case and inform elements of our culture.
Everyone who is keen or interested in African and Caribbean cultures is welcome to join the society.
Membership is open to all students, though by student union requirements members need to be National Union of Students (NUS) members. Membership costs £2.00 and members will get discounts for various events organised by the society.
There are several proposed events for 2009 though dates are yet to be set. However the committee has proposed launch party on the 20th of February 2009 more details will be passed on.
